ARE WE TO SEE ALL THINGS SPIRITUALLY?

D & C 88:67-68 "And if your eye be single to my glory, your whole bodies shall be filled with light, and there shall be no darkness in you; and that body which is filled with light comprehendeth all things. Therefore, sanctify yourselves that your minds become single to God,..."
I Corinthians 5:7 "For we walk by faith, not by sight."
Romans 8:7 "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace."
Elder Marvin Ashton: "Sadly, it's easy to become so encumbered by the press of daily life that we lose our focus. One definition of the word focus is "directed attention," or "emphasis" ...we need to focus and direct our attention on the things that really matter. And simply, what really matters is
1. A personal testimony of Jesus Christ,
2. An understanding of who we are, and
3. An absolute determination to return home... but how much more tragic for someone who, equipped with a testimony of the truth and a knowledge of the purpose, becomes more absorbed in life today than in life forever...who's just a little more concerned about his or her status and standing in mortality than in eternity...whose focus is not directed to God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, with whom it is possible to have a glorious connection and bond."
(Marvin J. Ashton, Ensign, Nov. 1992, p. 23)
How can I live in this telestial world and still see all things spiritually?
The easiest way to make major changes in one's spiritual growth is by changing his/her paradigm. That is, to see as Christ sees and thereby changing one's inner thought patterns. One of the best ways to see all things spiritually is to see all things as stewardship assignments under the law of consecration.
